With the first Galaxy series launched without a removable battery, the Galaxy S6 is problematic for many who would not kiss a wall all day. And ironically, not hugging the wall was one of Samsung's famous marketing tactics.
Well, the Galaxy S6 comes with a meager 2550mAh battery, at least, it should charge right quick? The rapid charging adapter (yes, it comes with the phone) provides the Galaxy S6 with 9 volts 1.46 amps of juice when you need to charge your phone faster.
So as you wake up and forgot to charge your phone the day before, how much time you need to charge your phone at 50% or 100%?
What is the speed of the load Galaxy S6
We have a scientific method actually to record the charge time and the results are following ?:
We started with 4% of the battery life.
adapter with 5 minutes quick charge = 13% of the battery life or 9% charged battery.
21 minutes with fast charging adapter = 41% of the battery life or 37% charged battery.
In 30 Minutes with adapter for fast charging = 55% of the battery life or 51% charged battery.
40 minutes with fast charging adapter = 69% of the battery life or 65% charged battery.
50 minutes with fast charging adapter = 82% of the battery life or 78% charged battery.
60 minutes with fast charging adapter = 0% of the battery life or 86% charged battery.
1 hour and 12 minutes with fast charging adapter = 96% of the battery life or 92% charged battery.
Overall, the Galaxy S6 will charge faster than any other smartphone, I tried. But I still miss my removable battery (as you can catch an extra charger and 2 batteries on Amazon for like 2 batteries) so that I can go for days without having to touch each wall. Let me also note that the Galaxy S6 loads very fast, even on regular micro-USB 5V adapters, loads faster than anything else out there. So even if you use a quick adapter, you may be able to get your phone re-charged quickly enough
