How to Install Android 6.0 on Nexus 5/6/7/9 Marshmallow! -

You want to install the latest Android 6.0 firmware official Marshmallow on your Nexus 5, 6, 7, or 9? You can use this method if you have a rooted device with unlocked bootloader

Step 1. Download fastboot.zip, USB drivers (for Windows), 7Zip (to extract the firmware files), and the last Nexus firmware for your model.

Download Nexus firmware

Step 2. Unzip both fastboot. zip and USB drivers zip files.

Step 3. Unzip the Nexus firmware ending in .tgz. You should get a file ending in tar, unzip it and you also should end up with a folder with the firmware image files.

Step 4. Unzip the zip file in the firmware folder beginning with "image" and ending with ".zip". This should give you a bunch of files ending in .img. Copy both "boot.img" file and "system.img" in the "fastboot".

Step 5. copy also on "bootloader-xxx.img" and "radio-xxx.img" file from the firmware folder in the fastboot folder. (Note: "xxx" means that part of the file name may be different depending on your Nexus device.)

Step 6. Open a / type of terminal and the command prompt:

for Windows:

cd download
cd fastboot
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-xxx.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio xxx.img
IMPORTANT: Replace "xxx" with the actual file name !!! Or you can type the first 3 letters and press the Tab key on your keyboard as you fill it for you automatically!
FASTBOOT reboot-bootloader
.img fastboot boot boot flash
fastboot reboot-bootloader
system fastboot flash system .img
IMPORTANT: If you get an error for fastboot in this line, try using "system.img mfastboot flash system" instead !!!

For Mac:

cd download
cd fastboot
chmod 755 *
./ fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-mac-xxx.img
./ fastboot reboot-bootloader-mac
./ fastboot flash radio-mac xxx radio .img
IMPORTANT: Replace "xxx" with the actual file name !!! Or you can type the first 3 letters and press the Tab key on your keyboard as you fill it for you automatically!
./ fastboot reboot-bootloader-mac
./fastboot-mac flash boot boot.img
./ fastboot reboot-bootloader-mac
./ fastboot-mac system.img flash system
IMPORTANT: If you get an error for fastboot in this line, try using "flash system ./mfastboot -mac system.img "instead !!!
