For those of you with Android Galaxy device as AT & T Galaxy S5 has a locked bootloader, you're stuck with the recovery Safestrap instead of the normal CWM or TWRP recovery.
For Safestrap users, did you know that you can install most of T-Mobile / International ROM on your AT & T phone?
This is going to work on many Android Galaxy devices, including AT & T Galaxy S3, S4, S5, Note 2 and Note 3. (For international facility ROM Note 3 SM-N005 on AT & T Note 3, you must install WiFi also fix)
Here are some scenarios:
- Install ROM T-Mobile S3 w / AROMA AT & T S3 with SafeStrap
- Install T-Mobile / Canada / GT-i9505 S4 ROM w / AROMA aT & T S4 with SafeStrap
- Install T-Mobile / note Canadian / GT-N7105 2 ROM w / AROMA aT & T Note 2 with SafeStrap
- Install T-Mobile / note Canadian / SM-N005 3 ROM w / AROMA aT & T Note 3 with SafeStrap
This method will also work on Verizon Galaxy phones, but most GSM / T-mobile / International ROM does not work with Verizon's CDMA network so ...
now you can already do on custom ROM without AROMA installer but many these custom ROMs (T-Mobile / Canada / International) come with AROMA installer, who will not work with SafeStrap to ll.
to get around, you can delete AROMA installation from the ROM zip file and install it using SafeStrap.
Here's how to do it.
Before you start, make sure you install the ROM SAFE is compatible with your target device. (Eg T-Mobile S3 has the same Qualcomm processor as AT & T S3, so it is compatible. For example Note 3 SM-N00 processor Exynos vs AT & T Note 3, installing SM-N00 ROM on your AT Note 3 & T, it can cause HARD BRICK!)
You have been warned! DO NOT CRY FOR ME AND IF YOU Whine did not check compatibility of your phone ROM INSTALLING! It is very simple, just check the source and target devices have the same processors !!!
