How to install custom ROM using TWRP Recovery! [FAILPROOF METHOD]

How to install custom ROM using TWRP Recovery! [FAILPROOF METHOD] -

For those who want to install custom ROM using the Recovery TWRP, here's a foolproof method that will make your new custom ROM boot each time (in my experience) .

The only difference between usual and this one is that we will also formatting / system partition, which if not formatted causes sometimes bootloops when new custom ROM installation.

This method works on any Android smartphone or tablet rooted with TWRP Recovery installed. And also work on all types of custom ROM, including CyanogenMod (CM11, CM12), TouchWiz, Sense, etc ... etc ...

Before you start, make sure that TWRP Recovery installed (if you do not see our guide on TWRP recovery facility using Flashify )

Step 1. first download the zip ROM files you need. Usually there are one or two zip files. You can download these files directly on your phone or download them to your computer first, then copy them to your phone. (You can also use an OTG cable and USB flash drive so you do not take up space on your phone / tablet.)

For AOSP ROM like CyanogenMod CM11 and CM12, you will need a file Gapps extra zip.

Once the files are downloaded, make sure they are not corrupt. You can do this by opening the zip file ROM with Application Explorer ES File. If you can see the contents of the zip file well, you're good to go. Otherwise, your files are bad, so the re-downloaded!

Step 2. If you have a rooted Android device, use the boot application Quick restart in recovery.

If you do not have a rooted phone or perhaps you are stuck in bootloop manually boot into recovery.

(for Samsung Galaxy devices, turn off the phone and hold Volume Up + Center Home + Power for 5 seconds, for HTC / Nexus devices, powering off the phone and hold Volume Down + Power buttons then select recovery). If you have another device, try googling on how to enter recovery mode
