Are you just tired of waiting OnePlus An update to release Lollipop? Maybe by the time you get it, you can have a new phone already

But no worries if you are rooted like me, you can enjoy all the benefits of open source and custom ROM and enjoy CM12.1 with Android 5.1 today. Fortunately, OnePlus One is one of the first Android devices to receive CM12.1 ROM

Of course, this is not an official ROM CyanogenMod team, there is an unofficial building by XDA user Crazy_Boy ^. The ROM looks quite smooth, but so far no bugs and everything works out of the box.

As for performance? Boy, Android 5.1 works super fast, if you have not tried Android 5.1, definitely give this guy a go. Regarding custom kernels will, it is still developing for Android 5.1, but as soon as I find a good, I will definitely have an update too.

Download Android 5.1 Gapps (DO NOT USE old 5.0 / 5.0.1 / 5.0.2, you will be FC!)

Installation is easy as usual.

OnePlus you need a root for a course, you can follow my guide OnePlus a root to root.

to root, you must enable root for applications and adb, see How to Enable root on CM12!

Then follow my universal TWRP installation guide and be sure to install the zip file firmware upgrade in TWRP before installing the ROM. Restart in the TWRP recovery Format / system / data / cache / Dalvik cache, install the zip file firmware upgrade, install the ROM, install the Gapps and restart.
