So you want to buy the most expensive headphones in the world? Shure has released the Shure earphones KSE1500 (official release January 25, 2016, which was yesterday) and I made sure to get your hands on them as quickly as possible.
Not your over-the-counter headphones / earphones are specially designed for studios, musicians, all those who want to enjoy high fidelity sound without all the noise.
From the connection from your Android smartphone via USB OTG to its dedicated amplifier and electrostatic headphones, you will find Shure has eliminated a source of distortion and audio interference. On my first try, I really could hear the clarity and pure sound of these bad boys. Of course they are not perfect for everyone, but for audiophiles out there, it could be the perfect headphones.
First of all, you can connect the Shure KSE 1500 via the standard 3.5mm headphone jack or through its USB OTG. (It also supports the iPhone via the connector lightning.) With the 3.5 mm headphone jack, you can hear whistles, but if you use an Android smartphone that supports USB OTG (such as notes 5) or have a smartphone with a custom rooted ROM (the ROM personalized support USB OTG), you'll be able to eliminate any audio interference whistle / completely. That alone is amazing that these headphones eliminate any type of analog interference.
As for the sound quality itself, you find no distortion at maximum volume. The only distortion I found with the bass, which deforms the highest setting on my phone, but dial down a notch and everything seems perfect. Now, these headphones are designed to provide the massive amount of bass, so if you're a bass head, you may want to seek other headphones that provide more bass. Compared to my Beats studio Wireless (which I bought it mainly for its low aloud), the KSE 1500 Shure deliver clearer low but not low levels, I am used to. In other words, if you are a head down, you will be disappointed. However, if your concern is more with the sound and pure voice, they might just be the best headphones money can buy
