For those of you who do not know what the RAM and management of RAM are, here are brief how they work in an Android smartphone (or any other computing device)
First, RAM stands for Random Access Memory. RAM is a type of temporary storage which is much faster than your internal storage (or hard disks for computers). This temporary storage is used as an "intermediary" between your internal storage and your screen
Why use RAM?
You could read and write everything from your internal storage, but since the speed is far RAM, all would come to a screeching halt and lag. By having RAM as intermediary, the CPU is able to read and write on the screen and instantly all this happens every time you use your smartphone.
When loading a game application and he said, "loading" your operating system is essentially load game data (such as maps / charts) from the internal memory to the memory vivid.
for this reason, any gadget device that has a CPU and display always RAM. Now, since the RAM is temporary storage, you need only to the extent necessary to view the data you want. Having additional RAM can be useful if you play games that require a lot of graphics (as each image takes a good amount of RAM), but if you do not need extra RAM, it just does not it used and it does not allow the performance of your phone. That's why you do not see a smartphone with 20GB of RAM simply because there are no applications that require a lot. It really is a balance and check and smartphone manufacturers are trying to give the user enough RAM to run most applications, more flexibility for multi-tasking.
What RAM management?
RAM management is working to manage how memory gets used. For example, if you have 3 open applications and switched to a graphic game that requires 3GB of RAM, the operating system will calculate the amount of RAM available and close all applications that take too much RAM. In some cases, such as Samsung, it aggressively closes applications to make sure there is enough RAM to new applications being switched on. In cases like OnePlus 3, it may be less aggressive and keep more applications open. None of these are perfect by any means as it is also dependent on how the user uses the phone.
Does the RAM make your phone faster?
Now with faster RAM or more RAM doesn 't necessarily make your phone faster because it loads information from your internal storage first. You Internal storage is always the bottleneck because it is much slower than RAM and the RAM has to rely on internal storage for reading data and information. But if you do not have enough RAM, it can eventually cause your smartphone to the evil behind while having more than enough RAM will not help you make a n ything faster.
