In this comparison of the camera, we take the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 edge against the LG G5 comparing photos in different situations including low light and macro

Through this test, I learned that the Galaxy S7 fairs slightly better edge in low light situations and also pick up more details in shadows. But I also learned that LG G5 is no slouch either, do pretty well in agreement with the S7 edge in most situations. In fact, the LG G5 also offers a second wide-angle camera, which can be useful to give you a few pictures of great landscape

Also, 12MP on the Galaxy S7 board seems to fall short in the details from the LG G5 16MP in situations where more pixels would be ideal ( as in medium to high light conditions, LG G5 provides more details simply because of the extra pixels), especially if you want to crop a photo later on the road. While 12MP camera gives the S7 edge slightly better performance in low light, it is certainly sacrifice in pixels. I would also like to have a comparison between the old Galaxy S6 / 5 rating from the S7 Bord soon.

It boils down to what you prefer more, do you need better performance in low light pixels of sacrifice or do you want more pixels and a second wide-angle camera?

As for the front camera, the two phones as well in most situations, the Galaxy S7 edge having much more detail in bright light. In low light, the two phones have about the same while the S7 Edge does offer slightly wider viewing angle. What really impressed me the most was the HDR mode on LG G5, which can give you crisp HDR photos with a clear background. In comparison, the S7 board fails to produce value HDR photos using. In fact, I did test a little more time and found HDR LG G5 is higher than anything else on the market right now
