Nexus Galaxy S7 6P KILLS Edge Dynamic Range Camera test! -

My last unit low-light shooting, the Nexus 6P came out on top of all the 2016 flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S7 / S7 and HTC Edge 10 and wanted to know exactly what is happening. Was it the large sensor size? Perhaps a good camera software? Or was it simply because better HDR mode? To satisfy my thirst to know why Nexus 6P outperformed the new phones, I did a test of dynamic range.

What is the dynamic range?

For those of you who do not know, the dynamic range basically means the difference between the brightest and darkest areas of the image. A good camera is capable of displaying a wider dynamic range resulting in better pictures that depict the picture as realistic as possible

For this test correctly, I find an area that had a bright sky with very dark shadows of vines. In the first test, I used in fully automatic mode with Auto HDR on both the Nexus and 6P S7 Edge.

The results were fascinating than the Nexus 6P kept most of the details of the two light and dark skies vines while S7 Edge struggled to even make a decent picture. The results tell the story why the 6P done better in my low light tests. Since Nexus 6P is better able to handle the lights and shadows, he is able to do better in low light situations where the bright lights are involved.

I also took these photos in RAW mode and the results were good enough for the two phones while 6P still had better details, even with RAW files without post processing.

now, I wondered what might be the Nexus 6P cheated by treating them in HDR so I did another test with HDR on and off for two phones. When I did the test with HDR manually for the two phones, the Galaxy S7 board did much better in fact as well 6P
