I did a lot of ROM flashed last week trying to find that perfect combo for my OnePlus One Lollipop Upgrade. During this process, I found many problems with other custom ROMs such as telephone calls do not work, proximity sensor does not work, bootloops, Softbricks, and at one point, it made me crazy just trying to find the right Lollipop ROM. I mean most ROMs were no problems, but there is always an annoying bug, which made unusable
But the good news is that I figured it out, I found a great custom ROM that will allow enjoy the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with some additional overclocking.
Sabermod the CM12 actually comes with the AK core, so it was designed to run really fast and stable.

For the camera, camera works great as usual. For video recording, while also works well except in the mode 4K UHD but the 4K DCI mode works very well, which is higher resolution video anyway. Now the fashion 4K DCI drags a bit when recording, but it does not affect your recordings, it will read well normally.
To root, make sure you activate the first Developer options by clicking on About Phone to Settings and then select the root for applications and the ADB. If not root will not work, but here's how root works for all Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM.
If you need a little extra speed, you can overclock this ROM / kernel combo, just use Trickster MOD free app from the Play Store. Go to the General tab and set the maximum for 2.726Ghz 2.88Ghz or if you want to overclock. I tested well on 2.88Ghz games to play for hours but I recommend setting a slightly lower at 2.726Ghz, which seems to be actually faster. This desire will get your OnePlus One just as fast as phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processors as footnote 4.
