HTC One M9 has a big flaw that its auto-focus does not work properly. 5 of 10 photos taken with the M9 results in more exposed photos and depending on where you focus, exposure changes constantly. This is worse than the HTC One M7 and M8. Since this is a matter of auto focus camera does not work properly done, it must be fixed with an update by HTC camera firmware in the future.
Meanwhile, there is a way to correct these overexposed photos easily using the manual mode. probably only advantage of the HTC One M9 on flagship phones like the Galaxy S6 is the manual of the camera mode. Now, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge have a Pro mode, but it does not adjust the shutter speed, as the M9 box. And yes, that's where the HTC One M9 shines if you know how to use
Like many digital SLR cameras, the HTC One M9 allows the user to control the ISO and shutter speed. By having this control, the user is able to get the exact image they want. In practice, this actually worked really well. While I'm not able to get photos like the S6 / S6 edge in autofocus mode, the M9 has lived up to its expectations in manual mode. I am able to capture photos that were just as good as those taken by Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge.
If you know how to use a digital SLR camera, it will be piece of cake. And even if you do not have it, it's pretty easy to do, simply adjust the ISO setting as low as possible (I generally use 100 in normal bright light) and set the shutter speed accordingly to get the shot you want.
using the manual mode, did the M9 camera go bonkers on me as I could now concentrate on my subject and get a clear picture, whatever I focused.
